Hometown: Wheeling, West Virginia

I was awarded the General Mills Champions for Healthy Kids $10,000 grant as a graduate student. This is the first time WV has received this grant. It will be used to implement a health promotion program at The Shack Neighborhood House where kids will learn about nutrition and the importance of staying healthy. The children will receive nutrition education and free exercise equiptment and there will be a Dance Dance Revolution game set up for permanent use.
